Introduction
Opsess (“Opsess,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a trade name of Aidhu LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This AI Policy explains how we use artificial intelligence responsibly in the course of delivering revenue operations (RevOps) and go-to-market (GTM) engineering services to our clients.
We use AI as a tool to work faster and more effectively: for research, data enrichment, workflow automation, content drafting, and analysis. We are committed to using it transparently, ethically, and in a way that protects our clients and the people whose data we handle.
Scope. Opsess does not build, train, or deploy custom AI or machine-learning models. We configure, orchestrate, and operate existing third-party AI tools within our engagements. References to “AI” in this policy mean these third-party tools and the ways we use them.
Our AI Principles
Transparency. We are open with clients about where and how we use AI in their engagement, including the categories of tools involved and the tasks they support.
Human oversight and control. AI augments our work; it does not replace human judgment. A person reviews AI-generated outputs before they are relied upon or delivered to a client. Decisions that materially affect individuals or a client’s business are always subject to meaningful human review.
Fairness and non-discrimination. We are mindful that AI tools can produce biased or skewed outputs, particularly in areas such as lead scoring, enrichment, and segmentation. We apply human review to reduce the risk of unfair or discriminatory outcomes and do not knowingly use AI in ways that discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics.
Privacy and data protection. We apply privacy-conscious practices to all AI-assisted work. Client and end-user data is handled confidentially and in line with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally.
Safety and security. We take reasonable measures to use AI tools securely and within their intended scope, and we select reputable providers for the tools we rely on.
How We Use AI
In the course of our services, we use AI tools for tasks such as:
- researching companies, markets, and prospects;
- enriching and cleaning data records;
- building and running workflow automations;
- drafting content, communications, and documentation;
- analyzing data and surfacing insights.
The tools we use fall into categories such as data enrichment platforms, sales and prospecting tools, workflow automation platforms, and large language models. We select established, reputable providers and use them in line with their terms of service.
Client Data and AI
Data minimization. We use only the data necessary to deliver the agreed services, and only for the purposes set out in our engagement agreement with the client.
No training on client data. We do not permit client confidential or proprietary data to be used to train third-party AI models. Where we use AI tools that could otherwise use inputs for training, we rely on settings, plans, or contractual terms that exclude our clients’ data from model training. We do not input a client’s confidential information into public or consumer AI tools that would use it for training.
No cross-client use. We do not use one client’s data to benefit, inform, or deliver work for another client.
Third-party providers. When we use third-party AI tools that process client data, we select reputable providers and, where available, rely on their data processing terms and security commitments. We share only the data necessary for the tool to perform its function.
Security and storage. We take reasonable measures to protect data used in AI-assisted work, including using tools that provide encryption and access controls. As set out in our Privacy Policy, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention. Client data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations or as required by law. On completion or termination of an engagement, data is deleted or returned to the client as specified in the relevant agreement.
Human Review and Quality
AI outputs are not delivered or acted upon blindly. We review AI-generated work for accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness before it is used or handed to a client. Where an output informs a consequential decision, human review is always applied. We treat AI as a drafting and acceleration tool, not as a source of unverified truth.
Limitations of AI
AI tools have real limitations, and we are transparent about them. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or biased, and can produce confident-sounding results that are wrong. AI outputs are not a substitute for professional judgment, and we verify material outputs before relying on them. We communicate relevant limitations, assumptions, and dependencies to clients as part of our work.
Ethical Guidelines
Uses we will not support. We do not use AI, and will not knowingly help a client use AI, for:
- surveillance or monitoring that violates privacy rights or civil liberties;
- manipulation or deception at scale;
- consequential decisions about individuals (such as hiring or credit) without human oversight and a route to appeal;
- any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Client responsibilities. Deployment context matters. Where a client uses AI-assisted work or tools we have configured, we ask that the client:
- uses them only for their intended, lawful purpose;
- maintains appropriate human oversight;
- complies with all applicable laws and regulations;
- implements recommended safeguards; and
- discloses to end users, where appropriate, when AI is being used in consequential decisions.
Transparency with End Users
We encourage our clients to inform their own customers and end users when they interact with AI systems, particularly when AI significantly influences a consequential decision, when personal data is processed by AI, or when content is AI-generated. We are happy to advise on appropriate disclosure.
Regulatory Compliance
We make reasonable efforts to stay informed about the AI and data protection rules relevant to our work, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI-specific legislation such as the EU AI Act. Where an engagement touches a regulated sector or jurisdiction, we work with the client to understand and respect the requirements that apply to them. We do not provide legal advice, and clients remain responsible for compliance obligations specific to their business.
Continuous Improvement
AI tools and best practices evolve quickly. We commit to staying current with relevant AI tools, techniques, and responsible-use practices, and to updating our methods as the technology and the standards around it develop.
Accountability
We take responsibility for the AI-assisted work we deliver. Our accountability approach includes:
- clear engagement agreements that define responsibilities and liabilities;
- a single, direct point of contact (the Opsess founder) for any AI-related question or concern;
- investigating and addressing concerns raised in good faith; and
- correcting issues promptly when they are identified.
Reporting Concerns
If you have a concern about our AI practices or any work we have delivered, please contact us at hello@opsess.co. We take all concerns seriously and will investigate them.
Policy Updates
We review and update this AI Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, regulation, and best practice. Material changes will be communicated to active clients and posted on our website, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
